Friday 3: Pompey’s First Division match against Derby County at the Baseball Ground, postponed tomorrow because of the Rams' involvement in the FA Cup, will now take place next Wednesday afternoon.
Pompey Reserves play Millwall Reserves at Fratton Park tomorrow afternoon. The Pompey team will be: Humpston, Hindmarsh, Stephen, Cairney, Spence, Duggins, Ekner, Delapenha, Higham, Atyeo, Bennett.
The Pompey "A" team, at home to Romsey tomorrow, will be: Leather, Turner, Mansell, Elder, Field, Andrews, Wood, Gordon, Ames, Henderson, Parker.
Pompey include four 17-year-old trialists in the "B" team to meet Hastings in a friendly tomorrow. The line-up will be: Aslett, Voysey, Butler, Wilson, Sanderson, D Williams, Newman, Burgess, R Williams, Leadbetter, Jones.

Monday 6: Pompey’s Jimmy Dickinson has been selected to play for the Football League team against the Scottish League at Middlesbrough on 22nd March.

London and Liverpool will each have a club in the FA Cup final at Wembley on 29th April. This was assured by the draw for the semi-finals which was made at lunchtime today:

Tuesday 7: Pompey have a chance to regain third place in the First Division tomorrow when they meet Derby County at the Baseball Ground in a rearranged game which was postponed because the Rams were engaged in the FA Cup on Saturday.
Ike Clarke was not considered fit to travel to Derby, so the attack will be led by Duggie Reid. Reg Pickett retains his place at inside-right. Bill Thompson continues to deputise for Reg Flewin, whose eye injury is causing concern.
The full Pompey line-up for the game at Derby County tomorrow will be: Butler, Rookes, Ferrier, Scoular, Thompson, Dickinson, Harris, Pickett, Reid, Phillips, Froggatt.
Pompey Reserves will have Hopkins, a left-back from the Midlands, on trial tomorrow afternoon when they meet Millwall Reserves in the Mid-Week League at Fratton Park (3pm).
Wednesday 8: Pompey’s rearranged fixture against Derby County kicks off in one hour. The Blues are hoping to capitalise on Derby's disappointing exit from the FA Cup in their match against Chelsea on Saturday.
The final whistle has sounded at the Baseball Ground and it has been a desperately disappointing afternoon for Pompey.

Pompey's title-retention hopes suffered another blow this afternoon when they threw away a half-time lead and had Jimmy Scoular sent off as they went down 2-1 against a very ordinary Derby County side at the Baseball Ground.
In a match that was short on quality Reg Pickett offered Pompey hope when he put them in front with a screaming shot past 'keeper Townsend just before the interval.
Jack Stamps equalised for Derby on 68 minutes, although Ernie Butler appeared to be bundled into the net in the process.
Stamps scored his second goal five minutes from time to send Pompey home empty-handed.
As tempers boiled over late in the match Jimmy Scoular was sent off by referee Mr Alf Bond (London) after a heavy challenge on Johnny Morris. Morris was also dismissed for aiming a retaliatory punch at Scoular.
All-in-all it was a thoroughly miserable afternoon for Pompey. It was their third consecutive away defeat in the League, and Jimmy Scoular's sending off means that he will now be suspended for at least part of the Blues' crucial remaining programme

Saturday 11: Pompey make three changes to their side for this afternoon's important First Division match against Burnley at Fratton Park. Reg Flewin, Ike Clarke and Bill Hindmarsh are all fit again, and they replace Bill Thompson, Duggie Reid and Phil Rookes.
The full Pompey side to face Burnley this afternoon is therefore: Butler, Hindmarsh, Ferrier, Scoular, Flewin, Dickinson, Harris, Pickett, Clarke, Phillips, Froggatt. Kick-off is at 3pm.
After shaping up well in the first half of the season, Burnley have now played nine successive League matches without a win, their last success being on Christmas Eve when they beat Bolton Wanderers 1-0 at Burnden Park.
Pompey's prospects received something of a jolt on Wednesday when they were beaten at Derby. The reverse saw them slip to seventh in the League, and in view of the programme ahead they now seem to have only a slender chance of retaining the title.
Pompey Reserves are taking a strong side to West Ham for their Combination fixture, including the three men dropped from the League side. Team: Humpston, Rookes, Stephen, Duggins, Cairney, Thompson, Wood, Delapenha, Reid, Elder, Bennett.
Rodney Henwood, of Kingston Boys Club, has been selected to play for the National Association of Boys Clubs against the West German youth team. The match will take place at White Hart Lane a week today.
With just a few minutes to go until kick-off in Pompey's match against Burnley there appears to be plenty of elbow room on the Fratton Park terraces. Have some supporters given up on the Blues' chances of retaining the League Championship?
The final whistle has sounded at Fratton Park, and Pompey have beaten Burnley to keep themselves in the race for the League Championship.

Fratton Park's smallest crowd of the season, 26,728, saw Pompey produce an improved performance and pick up two valuable points with a 2-1 win against Burnley this afternoon.
Pompey were gifted a goal in the opening minute when their former goalkeeper Jimmy Strong allowed Jack Froggatt's cross-shot to squeeze inside the near post.
Ike Clarke gave the Blues a two-goal cushion in the 25th minute after Jimmy Scoular's effort had grazed the bar.
After the break Pompey continued to press and it seemed certain that they would extend their lead, but the Clarets reduced the arrears with seven minutes remaining when Spencer ran on to a pass and calmly placed a shot beyond Ernie Butler's reach.
Burnley's out-of-the-blue goal set up a frantic finale, but there was no further scoring. Pompey's win should put them in good heart for next week's hugely-important match against Sunderland at Roker Park.
