The Pompey History Society is a Registered Charity (No. 1201687), incorporated in January 2023. It was initially set-up in 2015 by a group of supporters committed to preserving and sharing the rich archive of Portsmouth Football Club.
The society is now offering membership on an annual subscription basis to all like minded supporters and others. Two classes of membership are available; Full and Associate. All personal data provided by an applicant for membership of the Pompey History Society will be collected and stored in a way that ensures it is fully safeguarded under the Data Protection Act 2018. Any information will only be used for the purpose for which it was given and will not be divulged to any other person or organisation except where prior written permission has first been obtained. It will be kept for only as long as it is necessary and thereafter disposed of in a safe and secure manner. Where the bank mandate section of the Application Form has been completed, it will be taken as read that consent to share all of the information contained on the form has been given.
