February 1-6: More Noise Is Called For At Fratton As Pompey Beat Man City
Tuesday 4: "Ardent Pompeyite" wants more noise at Fratton Park, according to Ranger in today's Evening News.
Pompey are the only Division One club unbeaten on their own ground this season. In fact they have not lost at Fratton Park for 13 months, and they will be looking to extend that record when they face Manchester City tomorrow.
Pompey right-back Phil Rookes has now returned to training following his ankle injury, but Jasper Yeuell will keep his place in the line-up for tomorrow's match against Manchester City.

Saturday 5: Pompey made it five straight wins in league and cup when they beat Manchester City 3-1 in their Division One fixture at Fratton Park this afternoon, but they had to come from behind and overcome some solid defending in order to take both points.
City shocked the Fratton crowd by taking the lead after three minutes when Smith headed past Ernie Butler. Pompey looked for an early reply but City's robust approach kept them at bay until the interval.
City were reduced to 10 men after the break when outside-left Clarke went off with a broken toe, but still Pompey couldn't find a way through.
Twenty minutes from time the Fratton crowd struck up the Pompey Chimes - and how their side responded! Ike Clarke put Pompey level with a brilliant overhead kick.
Peter Harris gave Pompey the lead in the 77th minute, pouncing on a loose ball and crashing it into the net after City's keeper, Frank Swift, had parried an effort from Froggatt.
Pompey made sure of the points two minutes from the end. Clarke was again the scorer and it was the best goal of the match. Harris showed Westwood a clean pair of heels, cut in from the right and squared a pass for Clarke to rifle home first time.
