[00:00:01] First went to Fratton Park in 1931 at age 4 with father Ted, memories of his fathers the Royal Engineers playing in salmon, only missed 6 or 7 games ever since, been to every league club in the country [00:02:14] Memories of players in leather boots and ball, old goalkeepers [00:03:25] memories of the run to the 1939 FA Cup final, quotes entire team and all the games and scores. Couldn’t afford to go to the final.
