Visit to the Mary Rose

Mary Rose Tour
As advised in our June newsletter, we have laid on a special tour around the Mary Rose with PHS committee member Greg Hills and his colleagues. Greg runs tours at the Mary Rose Trust and often dresses up in Tudor costume at our women’s games! As Henry VIII might have said “beshrew my heart, ’tis nobly done”.
The tour will take place on Thursday 24th September at 11am at the excellent price of only £15 each (plus the booking fee we get charged) for PHS members and their guests. Total number is restricted to 60. This is a brilliant offer being made by the Mary Rose Museum, based on the special relationship they have developed with Portsmouth Football Club, and we thank them for their generosity. Greg will send out the details of where in the Dockyard to meet and how to get through Dockyard security before the event.
