The life and times of Pompey record goalscorer Peter Harris, the Portsmouth-born player, who won two league titles and played for England in the 1940s and 1950s, was the subject of a recent society talk.
In 1999 Brian Moore, the legendary ITV commentator who did his last match in the 1998 World Cup final, came out of retirement to interview 20 influential players of the 20th century, one of whom was Harris.
