Match Summary | Pompey have to relinquish their league title but end the season with a twelve game unbeaten run. Jack Froggatt had been England's centre half but the selectors replace him with Fulham's Taylor and Ike Clarke sets about showing that decision was flawed after just 30 seconds. Sadly Froggatt ends the game limping on the wing so would have missed the Argentina game but not before Belgian winger Marcell Gaillard had opened his Pompey Account. Pompey finish the season in a more that respectable 7th place. |
