Match Summary | It was inevitable that Ron Saunders would score a hatful today for two reasons. In the away fixture Saunders netted three as Pompey recovered from 3-0 down to win 6-3 and the date being March 7th when Ron had scored four goals on his previous two appearances for the Blues! Today Orient are two up at the break but Saunders score twice around the hour only for Bolland to put the O's ahead again. Disaster struck for Pompey when Bobby Campbell is badly injured and can only carry on as a passenger on the wing but in the final minute Saunders bursts through and set up the limping Campbell to net off the post. |
