Transcript Summary [00:01:00] Remembers the 1939 Cup Final at age 6, didn’t go but went to the team bus tour and the Guildhall Square, then war started. Lived in Mile End, school in Pompey by the dockyard walls, left Pompey for Shelton Mallet til 1942 then returned. Father away a lot, returned to 63 Waterworks Road Farlington in 1942. Bought as sitting tenant.
